During the front locker install on my 94 b4000 d35 GUESS WHAT WE FOUND! If you said a diff full of mud and water and a dime sized hole YOU WOULD BE RIGHT! Got a nice patch on the hole for $50 but other than new lift kit can we prevent another hole? A little background-bought truck lifted, put on winch and big bumper so it sagged a bit,LF spring came out on 3 different occasions while wheeling (now bigger/taller 6" sky jacker springs are CLAMPED in) no pop outs since clamping but I don't know when hole occured? we think we see the edge that made the hole so we might grind a little-is this a bad idea?

So does the kit use the drop plate or a drop bracket?

rough country is known for punching a hole in the TTB D35. id be willing to be thats what you had on there. you shouldnt have another problem

must be a drop plate, i dont see how a drop bracket would punch a hole

i cut mine to avoid any problems
