So I am gathering parts for my 89. I want to do the common Chevy rear leaf swap with shackle flip and new shocks all around. Now that my rear end is going up I need to do the same to the front but I am unsure of what to do. I've read about the f150 front coil swap jeep coils and even just buying sky jacker lift coils. I'm wondering what would be the best choice in terms of price, ease of installation, and performance.

Thanks.

I want new springs anyway because they are old and pathetic and I'm upgrading shocks. So I guess my real question should be is what would be the best spring to upgrade to?

Best off getting a complete front suspension kit for it, as you'll need all the axle brackets & stuff for that amount of lift also.

Skyjacker's kits are good stuff, as is James Duff.

I'm having trouble finding any lifts for just the front end. Any suggestions?

Call up some places and see if they will sell just the front stuff?
Buy a kit that includes the cheapest set of rear parts (blocks) and don't use them/sell them?

Or maybe try to find a kit used.
