on a 1st gen ranger.... i havent gotten a ranger yet. but i will be soon... been here a while, but........
my question is what would be the best route to gain clearance for 33" tires? keep in mind im a total cheapass. on most other ford trucks you can just throw on a 3" body lift and fit 33s or 35s. but its different on these 1st gen rangers. if i get a lift im looking at a rough country 4" which recommends a 33" tire to compliment it. but seeing as im a senior in high school with no job right now, what would be a cheaper solution? this would just be to hold me over for a lil while as it would be a mud truck.... till i can afford a 4-6" liftkit.... i have done research on here but havent really found the answer
body lift?
body lift / trimming?
body lift / coil spacers?
other???????? junkyard springs etc.... (elaborate)?
