I need to change the oil pan gasket on my 3.0l and got as far as dropping the pan before realizing that it won't come all the way out. Can I just loosen the motor mount(if so how) or is it necessary to remove the engine/transmission as I have read on some sites. I repositioned the old gasket so the leak stopped but I'm worried this repair may be out of my league. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
