Keep seeing all kinds of neon colored ceramic wax/polish/protectant/crap showing up. I know nothing about it.


What does it claim to do?

Does it work?

Which brand(s) would you recommend?

Is it worth the time and effort?

Ceramic finishes seal the paint for up to 6 months. Essentially they act as a secondary clear coat. If applied correctly. They really do work as intended and keep the paint a lot cleaner.

Its too friggin expensive for what it is... my truck gets some wax/sealant once a year and a good spraying of fluid film. Never felt the need for more.
