So. I picked up a bottle of 'The Chemical Guys Hydro Slick"
HOLY CRAP DOES THIS STUFF WORK
It's nothing like regular wax.
Its better in every conceivable way.
Water, mud, dirt, bird poop, dead bugs.... NOTHING STICKS.
Had a mud spray down the side of the truck. Usually this would be a pain in the ass.
Nope. Falls off with rain. Like. Totally clean.
If in doubt, shell out the $40 for a bottle. You WILL NOT regret it.
Now to figure out how to turn it into a spray on undercoating....

One of the guys involved with our recent unintentional tug o war mudbog said he had done the ceramic thing to his truck a few months prior. Just sitting on the road while we freed toe rig washed it clean. Was astounding to see absolutely nothing stick to it. Real freakin wax that actually has a purpose. Thank you 21st century!
The two baths and hours of pressure washing since convinced me to do it. From testing in the yard, yep, nothing sticks to it.
Oh and it apparently works on glass as well. Hydrophobic rear window is sweeeeeeeeet. Blows rain x out of the water.

Kills me every time I look at that thing. If there were a manual swap option, it would be a Megasquirted hellbeest by now. My 2011 wouldn't exist.
