Ha ha, I don't know about SVT, but with my buddies ego, it's amazing I have room to fit in the driver seat! :icon_rofl:

Yep, I'll figure out the hooks. Doesn't matter if they are left, right, or center does it?

Don't make your daughter get out in the cold too much! :shok: It would just be nice to have some pics of my B2 other than the ones where I have to park it in a spot & get out to take a pic.

well if i get to go we'll have a hi-lift also. thats about all i have. i have no idea where my tow straps are. i used to have 2 one about 6ft the other was about 14 from where I used to work on cranes they couldnt use them if they got just the flightest little mark in them so i used to take them instead of them throwing em away!

if i can sell my explorer im in. which im trying real hard to do. but if time gets close and its still sittin in the driveway ill junk it for some cash. they said they would give me 287 for it. hell im only selling it for 500... keeping the 44 and the 8.8 though! :icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

I know I ran across it before, but could you post your link to the explorer in the FS forum, Jim?? I want to take another look at it....
SVT

Wish I had the extra $$, I'd get it. It's a perfect setup for what I'm looking to build...What would you want for it without the axles:icon_confused:
SVT

350 just to get it out of the way... im sick of lookin at it haha
right now its sitting on the 8.8 and jack stands under the front. deff a project truck. i think the thing ill miss about it the most is the doors i cut up.

There's a small chance I'll be able to get it in a couple of weeks, so if you still have it, I'll get it, but don't hold it if you come across a buyer:icon_thumby:
SVT

this is how its sitting right now...

Hey John, looks like I'll be doing Frank's gears possibly tuesday, definitely wednesday, so He'll be ready to try them out!!
SVT

Spent all day yesterday doing general maintenance on the B2. I changed the oil & then opened the glove box, there was a piece of paper where I had written the mileage when I changed it last.....it had only been 1400 miles, oh well!! :shok:

Anyway, managed to mount one tow hook on the front & found one good spot on the rear but couldn't mount it because if a winch cable or strap were hooked to it, it would have rubbed against a pinch point to where the bumper bracket mounts to the frame. Guess if I gotta be pulled backwards, I will have to hook to the bumper, I've got another good one with brackets at the house. :icon_thumby:

Someone apparently decided they wanted my full size spare from my dads house. :icon_confused: I now have a 205/70 15, or something like that, on the back as a spare. It was an unused spare off the 91 sploder I had, hopefully I won't have to use it! :shok:

There's way more to tell, but my posts always seem to be too long! :icon_confused: Long story short, a few more loose ends & I'm ready to go!!!!! :headbang:

B2, you got a 2" receiver on your truck to tow with?? If so, I got a shackle on a hitch I keep as a spare for wheelin trips. Railman has used it several times:icon_thumby:

No man, I ain't got nothin'! Chances are I won't have to be pulled out of anything anyway! :headbang: .....knocks on wood....

My stock rear bumper seems to be made of some kind of experimental metal that can't be damaged....:icon_rofl: It has been used both to pull & be pulled & it always holds up. ....knocks on wood again.... In extreme cases, I have been known to double wrap & hook the rear shackle, it is surprisingly effective

I pretty much know where & where not to hook, I ain't worried about damage, I just don't want nobody to get hurt! We'll be alright! :icon_thumby:
