Central Tenn. - North Ala. Wheelin' Dec.12th

Nope, no g/f John...just a friend, and their a no show, so unless I have one of my daughters riding along, I'll be solo...
Jim, thanks for the vote:icon_thumby:Maybe next year I can get re-nominated after all of RangerSVT's alterations are done when he's more worthy:pray:
SVT

maybe one day when my bronco is even close to the way I want it i'll make it into the nominations category. :headbang:

I'm gonna have my friend with me & I took out the bottom parts of my back seat & folded the back parts down years ago. With my full size spare mounted back on the carrier & my friend being 6' 7" & 350 pounds, I'm gonna be loaded to the max!!:icon_surprised: It might look like I don't even have a lift! :shok:

By the way, this is what I saw when I woke up this morning, not much, maybe 1/2" to an inch, but the mntns east of here....where we are going...supposedly got up to 3" or more. Could make it a little more challenging since the backside of the mntn & parts of the valleys see very little sun. :dntknw: The black dog in the 3rd pic is my best friend Casper!:headbang:

Most of it is already melting away here at the house with the sun hitting it. It isn't supposed to be very warm all week & with upwards of 3" + on the mntn, I almost guarantee some snow left on the backside of the mntn where we drop down into the valley. If not, it will most likely be a muddy mess! I guess we'll see next week!! :headbang:

Don't be going out & playing in the snow, you gotta save that gas for the ride!! Still hoping you can make it!!! :headbang:

If your trip meter works, fill the tank & carry a small can of gas with you, when it runs out you will know app. how far you can go, then just reset the trip every fillup!! I did that with my Ranger the whole time I owned it, it's cheaper & easier than fixin' the gauge!! :icon_cheers:

yea. i get about 20 mpg around town and thats most of my driving so ill put in like 20 bucks check how many gallons i pumped calculate it out hit reset and go... i guess my foot was heavier this last time! o well!

if i come my dog rex will be with me you should bring casper so he wont be alone!

Casper rides with me almost everywhere, he loves to ride but he still hasn't learned to brace himself, he gets too excited & falls all over the place. I very seldom take him on long trips or rough wheelin'.

I take him sometimes on some local gravel roads to the lake, but he can't handle the rough stuff, I'd love to bring him & he would love to go but he would hurt himself.

Disregard......Double post.:icon_confused:

so are we gonna need any special extrication tools?? I always carry about a hundred feet of chain, air compressor, basic tools, multimeter, and a ton of knowledge...

I don't know, since I don't have a girl to use em on, they are reserved for my truck. From what Frank says, I need a bigger truck to haul em around in...:icon_thumby:

Shouldn't need anything special, the basics ought to cover it! The first trip, I was the only vehicle & didn't get into any trouble, the 2nd trip I had my brother following me in his CJ 7, I got a little more bold & tried something I shouldn't have, I ended up on the edge of a steep embankment & couldn't get out without flippin' over....yes, a Heep had to winch me back onto level ground. ;brownbag;

I tend to get a little more bold when I have other vehicles for assistance! :shok:

All I have is a few basic hand tools, a tow strap, & SVTs knowledge. I still gotta figure a way to mount my tow hooks, I only have 2 & still ain't sure if just one on the front & one on the back (if I can figure a way to mount one on the back) will be sufficient.

Gonna carry it down to my dads shop tomorrow so I can change the oil, figure out the tow hooks, mount my spare on the carrier, & try to see why my carb wants to flood while just idling through the trails. :icon_confused:

By the way, we are gonna need to get pics! I don't really have any "action" shots of my B2 & woould like to get some of everybody else also. I have an old floppy disc digital camera that takes good pics that I am bringing, but my lazy ass friend hates to get out to take any & he seems to always blur the pics anyway!:icon_confused:
