Center Console Build

OK, on your 240-SX dashboard: :pray::pray::pray:

Is there some sub-frame the dash was built over? Those deep-set canted gauges are WICKED!... I don't like the GF knowing my oil pressure either, LOL!

Thank You Sir :icon_cheers:

The glass was laid up directly on the foam under the vinyl. The resin did not attack it and it was firm enough to support the lay up and sanding pressure. SO no sub-frame besides original dash.

So your GF actually knows something about cars? Most humans of the female persuasion (I said most, not ALL) are usually saying - oil, pressure, oil pressure :icon_confused::icon_confused::icon_confused: - LOL.

:icon_idea: To the girls/ladies/women that read this :icon_surprised: I :pray: bow to your sense of humor as I respect you one and all. :icon_cheers:

Finished

:yahoo: :headbang: :icon_hornsup: :icon_thumby: :icon_bounceblue: and any others that apply.

I AM FINISHED (except the shifter boot) and I am HAPPY :beer:

Ok - today it warmed up a bit and I finally decided to pull the console back out and see how she held up over the past month or so while installed. Overall: Freaking Great - she had a few scratches from where it rubbed the bottom of the dash but they were never visible, I also found two small spots that were thin from before and broke through, not to the inside must have been a unpopped bubble - so I sanded them out with 50 grit, applied some dyna-hair, let it cure, sanded smooth and sprayed that sexy biatch . . .

Who wants PICS?:icon_confused::dntknw:

:buttkick: Everyone wants pics . . .

Ok then - Pics

Finished and drying:
