Is anyone else having trouble reaching theRangerstation.com? a link from a google search result goes nowhere and yahoo search links just ends with an error page..
It works on my desktop, (bookmarks and search links, I'm on that now) which has 3rd party cookies enabled and automatically logs me in, my laptop without automatic login won't connect from a search page (not bookmarked) using Firefox or Chrome..

This has been going on for about a week.

Same on my wifes' Toughbook using Firefox/Google; "This sight can not be reached"

I tried typing the full address into the browser http and https, and still the same thing...

I would think this would be a big deal if nobody can reach this sight without having the automatic login cookies.

Anyone???

I just checked it with Internet Explorer (no cookies stored) and had no problem. Have you tested this from a different location/network?

Three diferent computers; I can connect on my win 10 desktop PC which I have set to allow cookies and to automatically log me in. My laptop runs Linux, (firefox and chrome), no 3rd party cookies, no automatic login/no passwords stored (in case it gets stolen) can not reach the site at all through google or yahoo search or by typing the address in manually with either http or https. Same on my wife's laptop "this site can not be reached"

We don't have cell service around here so I can't try a smart phone.

I asked this question on the TRS facebook page and other people are having the same problem.

I can take my laptop to work tomorrow and try from there but I don't have any trouble from this desktop (at home) so I doubt it's in my network..

I'll hunt up a piece of cat 5 and try it on my laptop without the WiFi, not sure why that would make a difference but I'll try.

EDIT: Same results, when I click "Details" it says that "the site may no longer exist or has moved to a new address" (paraphrasing)

EDIT 2: I'll be out of the house for a while, I'll check back in tonight and take my laptop to work tomorrow and see if it works from there.. This has me scratching my head... :-P

Well, I took my laptop to work today, it won't connect from there either, so I tried the office computer (win 10) and it went right through. So I tried updating my browsers, firefox said I had the latest version, I updated chrome (it was out of date) but it still wouldn't connect. Running Ubuntu 14, so that's the only two on it. Checked the hosts file but nothing in it.

TRS is the only site I'm having trouble with.

This has me stumped...

What happens if you try to connect by ip?

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at www.198.105.254.114.
If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

Try again later.
Check your network connection.
If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.

Weird. Acts like it bails out before it leaves your house.

Any chance you've got something funky going in iptables?

I'm not sure what that means, I tried to ping the site and got this, a different IP address and resualt:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>ping www.therangerstation.com

Web Server's Default Page

This page is generated by Plesk, the leading hosting automation software. You see this page because there is no Web site at this address.

I'm a linux novice, so I'm doing all this on a Windows machine. The same machine I'm posting this on, which is very weird...

Take the www out and just ping the 198.105.254.114 address.
