I have reason to suspect that my parking brake mechanism is messed up. So I was at the u-pull-it yard and grabbed a mechanism from a Ranger with the door tag indicating built in 09/95. The mechanism in the picture below installed is currently in my '93. The picture of the mechanism on the bench in the supposed '95. Even if not, any reason it could not work in my '93?

'93 PB
'95 PB ?
Thanks,

I would expect it to work since the trucks are the same generation. From your pictures, it looks like it should be fine. If the mounting holes are right and the placement of the brake cable sheath mounting and cable hookup are dimensionally the same, it will work. If you already bought it, go ahead and install it and see what happens.
