Can anyone tell me what these are?

Hey all!

I'm therangerangel on RPS, but seeing as it is down (again) I thought I'd wander over here and see if yall nice folks can help me!! Haha...

I'm ripping apart a bunch of stuff around my fenders - I'm bagging the truck and need the clearance. In the process of doing that I found two things that I have no idea what they are... any help?

It's a 2001 3.0...

I don't know what that is I'm pointing to in the pic. This is under the ABS controller which I have all unbolted. It's a little secondary bracket that sits just below and forward of the main ABS thing. It has what looks like a cap of some sort and that little green thing...

And the second is this plastic ball thing that was on my inner fender.

plastic ball thing is a vacuum reservoir.

1st photo is of the EVAP system. Basicly it is the line that collects fuel vapor from the fuel tank to burned off later when the engine is warmed up.

2nd photo is of the vacuum reservior. It's to hold a vacuum when the engine throttle varys so you can still have your air vents hold their position or other vacuum items work (EVAP is one of them) when under full throttle.
