Below is a link to the image. I need to retain the size, and I need to retain the clear background, but I want the white lines around the 'TRS' to be more defined (larger) to look more like the logo at the top of our website.

I don't have the proper software. If I try to edit it, it will end up with a back background, and I want it to remain transparent.

Try "pixel editor". It's a free online image editing site with professional features similar to Photoshop.

That's what I use when I'm at work and don't have access to my Photoshop software.

Sorry. Autocorrect killed that.

It should be pixlr editor

Also, make sure TRS doesn't have a copyright issue with whatever you are doing with their logo

Thanks.

I'm pretty confident that I have permission to use the TRS logo.

Sorry, Jim. I didn't pay attention to who posted the question.

Are you talking about the black background around the letters or the whole image background?

When I opened it in the original view the image (http://i.imgur.com/ffbivd5.pnghad) by BBII it had an entire black background but when I clicked on it to expand the image there was a white background (behind the logo) and the black background of the letters TRS stood out better.

If you want to change the way the letters stand out by widening the white border that might require a redo of the letters using a program that allows wider "edging" of the letters.

I don't have any software currently that will run on XP or later versions so I can't even try this...but it may need a bit more clarification from what I'm reading...

I can make them one size larger.

It definitely still has the transparency... Did you save the file and view it in an image viewer? The "background" will be whatever color the software you're using decides it should be, because there is no background. It's transparent.

Here's one with fatter stripes.

Perfect! (PM on its way to you...)

Yes, once I saved and reopened it, I realized that it still had the transparent background. :icon_thumby:
