o.k here's my problem: i did a body lift on my full-size[same truck as avitar], it is a 73 F250 w/1969 C-6. anyway i thought i had disconnected shift linkage[wrong
]and discovered AFTER i lifted cab with tractor that i was saddly
mistaken. anyway it hyper-extended my linkage up past the parking pawl[got it to shift back] and now for my dillema, when truck is cold everything shifts fine
R N D 2 1, but when the transmission warms up and i give it the juice it slips real bad in drive. not sure what problem is, checked fluid, it was a pint low so i topped it of that didn't change anything. problem only surfaces when tranny is warm. BEFORE the lift everything was just fine. if i have to have tranny rebuilt, not a big deal, but would like to know if there is something i am missing before i spend two hours dropping it to the ground
