BW1354/1354 Doubler

I'm too lazy too read everything....

but I used a regular cab tank in place of my SuperCab (1995) tank when I put the doubler in. I also trimmed/reworked the tank skid plate mount around the front mount. It gets into the driveshaft still when the truck is all twisted up. It was also an issue before the doubler when I went to the one piece rear shaft.

Also I was told or read years ago the 6 gear planetary was for NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) issues not actually a strength problem.

I'd have to look at my 97 Single Cab Shorty and see if the tank would clear or not.

The only issue I see with swapping or adding a Bronco II tank on a Ranger is the issue of the fuel tank hanging down below the frame. So, you would lose departure angle. Adding a skid plate to protect the tank would execerbate the issue.

The bigger fuel capacity would be nice. If I remember correctly, BII tanks are 23 gallons where as the original second tank on the Rangers were 13 gallons.
Bronco II did have a 23 gallon tank
