got an 86 bronco ii..its running rich..it tries to stall at times depending on how long its been cut off..replaced fuel filter and run numerous fuel treatments but no luck..got new plugs, new plug wires, replaced map sensor and throttle position sensor..wondering if it could be screen in fuel tank clogged or bad egr valve..u can definitely see black around the exhaust tip and smell fuel..help!!!

Check for fuel in the vacuum line at the fuel pressure regulator. The FPR failure is common with age. I know of so many failures in this last year that I wonder if it is something in the fuel, like maybe ethenol causing the failures.
