Hello everyone, I wanted to alert yall regarding some bump stops I found in stock at the Lowes hardware Dept in the drawers. (Check their drawers just don't sound right) Hillman PN# 881324 (1" x 3/4" x 1") & Hillman PN# 881322 (3/4" x 9/16" x 3/4"). These are glue on style w/ no holes.
My cab is a 4 door. The rear doors typically need something to control the rattling installed near the lower lock section on each of the rear doors. I install them as close to the lock as needed. Some fine tuning is required of the length needed to remove-reduce the door rattle caused by a loose lock. If the installed bump stop is too short, then relocate closed to the hinge. Use this method to address the length of the bump stop as to not cut the rubber, just move it around with double sided tape to test the control of the door rattle.
Hope this helps out. Finally, no rattle! -Doug
