Bull Bar Mounting

I was wondering how a cheap bull bar off of like eBay mounts up to a 98 ranger? It says it comes with brackets but where does it mount too? Thanks

depends they all mount the same usually but some mount to just the bumper and some will mount to the frame either under or between the frame

They mount where the radiator splash guards are on the frame. I have one at the house I am making custom mounts as the ones that came with it are way to weak. I know they are only for lights but one tiny bump to that bar they will bend.

Be careful buying those budget mataburros (burro killers) on ebay. I would rather go to a nice 4X4 aftermarket shop or see what it would cost to have a local fabricator bend one up out of some stainless. You won't be happy with a cheapo one.
