Might also depend on your line of work. If you drive a desk and dont haul refrigerators then a bobbed bed won't make a difference, but me, i like to haul stuff. Usually lumber or junk. You'd of course be borrowing a vehicle until it's done.

Why do you want an ext cab? I use mine for storage. Nobody gets back there.

I will be hauling stuff though i hunt alot and need the space to haul stuff up and get animals out, and the ext cab is mostly to put my guns when i go hunting or shooting.
