I traded for this 89 BII 3 years ago as a gutted rolling chassis and a bunch of extra junk parts. It also came with 302 out of a 84 Grand Marquis. What it looked like when I got it.

I jumped right in and herculined the floors and got the engine dropped in.

I found a 5 speed and a bw1356 out of a 89 F150 and slapped them. I couldn't get the clutch to bleed and the engine wasn't running right after I got everything together so I took long break from it. About a year later I stubbled across a 4 in lift for $150 and installed it. I got the engine problem solved and it runs great and it sat for awhile again. I tried selling it a few times with no luck so I started working on it again.

It has a 3" body lift that came on it so last week I went to take it out and found that I have a rusted out mount. So off came the body.

I got the exhaust ran this week and planning on getting the mounts finished this week also.

off to a good start my man!

Keep it up!

Thanks man, I'm hoping to have it going by the end of summer for a trip to the dunes. Then I'm going full widths this winter.

I tackled the body mount today.

looks nice! im keeping an eye on this one. if my engine ever takes a dump, chances are its getting a carbd 302

just looked at the rear mounts on mine and on one side looks like yours used to. sucks but shit happens.

Little update...got everything done but driveshafts this weekend but I'm gonna wait on those till I find a rearend. Frame is rolled back under the body and I will try getting sat back on tomorrow. Also making the front clip removable. I got all the spot welds drilled this morning and everything off.

Nice. Wish I had the motivation to pull the body for one bad mount. I had 6 and repaired 3. I have 3 rusted out still.

I had to run exhaust and tranny lines for the c4 I put in while it was off.
