Bseries/Ranger Front Bumper swap

im wanting to know if the ranger's fx4 front bumper would fit on my 02 b4000

Yes it will fit. the mounting pints are the same.
its the same bumper as the XLT 4WD Ranger. the valance is the textured one.
thats why its black.
the smooth one is for the Edge, since its painted.
I assume u want a 01-05 FX4 bumper.

It will look a bit weird tho, because your trucks bumper is complelty straight on the top. and the Ranger one has a recession in the middle for the grille.

how about on the 96?

the mounting points changed in 98, so mouting a 98+ bumper on any 97 or older involves a lot of fabrication, u need to mod the frame horns where the bumper bolts.
ive seen it done in 97 and older Rangers, it can be done, but the gap doesnt look good on them either. i know the 97 and older rangers/mazdas had a gap, but its smaller than the one on the newer bumpers.
the 96 explorer bumper might work.

was thinking of running a grille mesh sorta thing behind my stock grille, so might be an idea to try to fill the gap with that too, gonna check around and see if i can find any good solutions
