so this project took a long break but i had to wait for my buddy to help me put it in. we got it in last night and it was the biggest pita ever. and i realized now i gotta pull the trans because my torque converter isnt completely engaged. ill do that tomorrow probably

cause im tired of my dad nagging me about having my bronco in the garage all summer and being in the way and the boat will soon have to be put in the garage and even tho theres plenty of room it will just be taking up too much space, so ill probably rig up that shed in the link behind the garage, run electricty out there from my garage, bring out the mastercraft work bench and my toolboxes and work out there. then i dont have to worry about getting it done on time and i can have her in there for as long as i like so i can get some more work done on her. i have to think of something for a floor tho.. i need to be able to roll my toolboxes around and roll around under the truck on a creeper

i done something with the bronco that will not be mentioned on this board or to anybody besides myself but lets just say she will turn over again now so i dont need to take her apart again. im gonna put on the starter tomorrow and see if she will turn over ok and if she will then she is going back together again and will hopefully run by the weekend

well i put the front clip back on tonight and hooked up the starter solenoid and she wouldnt turn over only clunk. so the motor is coming out tomorrow i was gonna take it out tonight but i was getting pissed off until a ratchet fell down on my face so i threw it through the window in the garage and left. so tomorrow i will be repairing a window before anybody notices then gonna take out the motor again lol heres a few pics

never seated the torque converter properly, just slide it in and bolted it together

i got the motor back in right and after the pita of aligning the studs for the torque converter and the flexplate i got it all bolted together and bolted the bellhousing together and the motor mounts and changed the oil filter and put in 7 liters of new mobil1 20w50 oil and then put on the front clip and hooked up the starter and crossed out the starter solenoid...
















she turned over!!
so tomorrow im gonna put the plug wires on, hook up the gas lines, power steering pump, radiator hoses, the bit of wiring, then shes good to go. i hope to be able to drive it out of the garage tomorrow
