i wonder what it is?

and i found out why she wont idle or work right after i put the motor back in, this peice on the back of the manifold was broken so i think it was the problem

SSPX0543.jpg

so i found another one im gonna put on within a next couple days.

and my exhaust manifolds are junk, so i took off one side, will probably do the other tonight

tonight or tomorrow i will be ordering a set of headers from summit racing. im paying for them and my parents are paying for shipping. yee haw

Sweet Boggin.................I love to hear uncapped headers!

A bit delayed, but I just ordered the new headers!!!
:icon_hornsup::icon_welder::icon_surprised:

Well i got a letter in the mail a few weeks ago saying my order was cancelled because my bank wouldnt confirm it since its a foregin order and im under 21. so i have to get a parent to confirm it or something next time i place the order.

so im not getting them headers because i came up on a great deal, my buddy has a mild built 351W, its ported&polished, mild cam, long tube headers, holley 4bbl, and already painted ford blue. he is giving me that for my 94 ranger so then im gonna get a smallblock transmission and throw the 351w in the bronco.
i have a question though, can i use my np205 on a smallblock automatic trans? probably be a c6, or maybe a np435 or t18 if i can get one

fired her up today for the first time since the beginning of last fall :)

i charged up a battery and threw it in her, bolted on the stock exhaust manifolds, then went out across the snow bank in the bronco2 and boosted her and she fired up perfect, but she only runs on the bit of gas i put in the carb. im not sure if it has anything to do with the carb bolts werent tightened up or the vaccum piece on the back of the manifold broke off (both which will be fixed as soon as i haul her in the shop) but if i fix all the known problems and she still dont get her gas im gonna by-pass the mechanical fuel pump and get an 8psi electric pump in there an if she dont work then, im gonna burn it lol.
so hopefully when i get her running im gonna take the cab off the frame and do a complete restoration. just a matter of time and money

working on repairing the broken manifold studs..

this manifold is done, ill use bolts through these..

will also use a bolt through this one..

DSCF1108-1.jpg

but this one will require re drill and tap (got it drilled, just need to tap it now)

DSCF1107-1.jpg

and here is the poor girl as of today. and yes i have the wheels for it

DSCF1115-1.jpg

also cleaned the carb..

not like im working under it so no biggy if it falls, and its been there like that since last fall and the dog dont be up around there so no worries, i never posted it for anyone elses approval with all do respect

got the manifolds done tonight. wasnt very fun but im very pumped to get her in the garage this weekend. gonna get some 2.25" pipe, run true duals into glasspacks and dumping before the rear tire on each side. not going to be quiet.

well a couple weeks ago i bolted up the exhaust and threw in a battery and some gas and fired her up. she was working awesome until the exhaust manifold leak got a little out of hand and she was shooting flames out from between the block and the manifold and a plug wire burned up and a couple other wires melted. i only had i think 4 bolts in the manifold since the rest were twisted off in the head (i planned on fixing it, just wanted to put it together quick to see if she actually worked) so now i took the battery out of her and push her out on the side. i got a video of her running and some pics here somewhere, ill get it up shortly.

well here is one side of the exhaust when i finished it up

jeffspics001.jpg

threw on some old 235s on the front of her and put the b2 in 4 lo and hauled her out of the ditch this far

jeffspics006.jpg

jeffspics007.jpg

jeffspics009.jpg

jeffspics010.jpg

then threw the 33s on the rear so i could tow it with 4 tires on her

jeffspics008.jpg

and a pic of the shitty body work done by the previous owner, but i have a front fender in good shape ill weld in this spot for a good looking patch panel.

jeffspics013-2.jpg

and here is where she is rusted, no big deal though i like body work

jeffspics011-1.jpg

jeffspics012-1.jpg

jeffspics014-1.jpg

jeffspics015-1.jpg

jeffspics016-1.jpg

jeffspics017.jpg

and after i shut her off i found gas on the manifold, the carb is bolted down tight so it cant be leaking from there?

jeffspics018.jpg

jeffspics019.jpg

so im soon going to bring her in the garage and pull the motor out of her, again, (this time with transmission) and go though the engine completely. hopefully a set of 351c heads will find its way on her, since i have to take the heads off anyways cause i gotta drill out the broken manifold studs

Boggin, don't take this the wrong way but why don't you sell/scrap all of your beat up rusty falling apart vehicles and buy one nice RBV or put the money in your BII?

Your sitting on a gold mine there.. I scrapped the cab/front chassis of my parts truck minus the body panels and engine and got $300. Now if I had the full truck I would have got closer to $400.. if I had 4 trucks loaded down with scrap metal.. well you get the picture.

my b2 is the cleanest rbv ive ever seen anywhere on this island, i mean underneath the floor is still the original blue color, and she isnt rusted though or falling apart anywhere. i dont care what anyone else thinks, i really like it. so thats my good truck, this one isnt costing me anything, so big deal.

every truck i get there is always someone telling me how its rusted or junk, but they wouldnt be saying that if they seen my b2 in person. but oh well we are only communicating over the web so we cant know everyones rides inside and out. its ok though i wont post anything else about this one here
