and what you don't see are the holes in the floor and that the back of the cab has been replaced

yes, we have established, Iowa = rust belt. go get a Toyota from the 7 western (WA, OR, CA, ID, MT, NV, and AZ) and you will not have very many (if at all) issues with a Toyota.

but he got that truck somewhere over in kansas and this is the trucks second Iowa winter plus the guy said he never drove it on the road but used it to pull tree's around the farm.
meh he probably lied to my friends dad. :dunno:

I don't recall Kansas being in the 7 western......

and just because the PO never drove it on a road doesn't mean the owner before that didn't ........ Nobody buys a new pick up just to pull trees on the farm. It got driven on the roads.

I didn't say it was from the 7 western I just said that it's not from iowa.
You're probably right about the other owners but I'm just going on what I heard when we were there to pick it up.
plus the idea of pulling tree's with that things scares me alot :icon_rofl:

why, we did it and ours was a 2wd. nothing to haul better than a ton it and drag 3 or 4 good sized logs out of the field to be cut.

I learned to drive when i was 10 on a 1980 toyota by pulling logs out of the field and hauling hay and fire wood......

what year though? 80's or the 90's this truck was still pulling tree's until 2004 when the guy quit pulling stuff with it then it sat for four years .
take a look at the pic's and tell me what you think of it

I can't see the pics, I have been having problems.

we had .....

1968 hilux (the old man bought new and drove it till 1979)
1979 pick up (the old man bought new and drove it every day until he retired and bought a 97 2wd V6)
1980 1/2 ton (was my Step Brother's)
1980 1 ton drw Flatbed (bought used for ranch work)
and a wrecked 1981 the old man bought for the 22r and 5spd t put into the 79 (his daily driver)

and its not like we never replaced parts on them.... just a catastrophic failure on a Toyota (that is not rust related) is very very rare.

so if i cant find a bronco 2 what do you think about getting a fullsize bronco

yay or nay on the fullsize bronco

yay or nay on the fullsize bronco

manual or automatic?
what year?
302, 351, or 300 I6?

Ideally I would want a 1991 - 1996 with a 351 and a ZF 5spd but they didn't come that way.

Muscle cars rot out if they even see salt or alot of water,

Muscle cars didn't have a long life expectancy to begin with. The paint on muscle cars isn't like it is today. The rust prevention on the frames was minimal, and they still don't have a failure rate like the taco's.
