bronco 11 running way to rich 1988 2.9

replaced o2 sensor and coolant sensor still acts like its flooding and blake smoke runs good at start up 5 min later runs terrible should the small wire coming off neg battery cable unplugged going into harness read 11.2 volts please help.:bawling:
 
have you checked the regulator
 
I think "Hopster" is speaking about the FUEL PRESSURE regulator (back drivers side above valve cover, tin can looking thing, a little bigger than a LARGE pill bottle). pull the vacuum hose off the back and see if there is fuel on "That" side, if so, the diaphragm is ruptured, causing the engine to run extremely rich.
 
I'll go a different route with my wild guess. Get yourself a multi meter and start taking voltage readings . A low out put from the alternator can cause a low voltage misfire. Also, if it proves to be a bad FPR, change the oil ASAP.
