Brake Calipers

How many times and how many told you change the hoses? It's actually very easy.

I was actually given hoses after i made that comment. Btw. **** HOSES. Pieces of shit. Who the **** paid that horrible engineer to make it so ****ing hard to take off the hoses on the 1994 Ford Ranger

Nothing wrong with the hoses..The are pretty much how all brake hoses are made. the truck is old less you forget. They actually do swell inward and look perfect on the outside. Good luck!

I actually had to get towed home last fall when mine finally failed. I had smoke coming from my front driver side wheel. I ended up replacing caliper, rotor and hoses.

Actually threw away those brand new hoses a few weeks ago after replacing them with longer ones for my lift project. Would have sent them to you if I still had them.

there is also a potential for further damage to things like bearings and can lead to premature wear. Might be a good idea to replace those and repack them while everything is apart.

I say this because I had the exact issue on my first Ranger and when my front wheel almost rolled out from under me one day I didn't connect the two. I tried to skimp on things but ended up replacing my passenger side spindle after the bearing collapsed.

That first Ranger was a constant project and giving me so many problems I was tempted to just scrap it. But I stuck it out and drove Rangers for the next 14 years relatively happy and trouble free...but I also gained so much experience in vehicle repairs that the price of admission was well worth the ride.

RABS is another source of trouble

Well thank you Eric but i did get some. Would have saved some money however lol. And yeah I would do all that replacing but i just cant. I dont have a job and I'm 17. "My" car has either been using my parents or using the minivan my grandmother owns but rarely drives so it has sort of become mine but ya know isnt mine. All the stuff on this truck has either been bought by me or parents. Once i have gotten the title transfered and the plate paid for and insurance on it then i will start paying for other stuff. right now is just the essentials. and once its on the road my parents wont help me with money other than insurance. And not having a job will make it very slow going. I plan on using this truck until i die so fluids, breaks, engine stuff, tries, even the diff some day will all be changed. Once its on the road and i have the money i am getting all new fluids and brake pads and then the rest of the money will be floor mats, shift knob, looks stuff.
