Boosting Security

and after doing some personal testing.. don't ask. lol
one of these will ALWAYS be a part of my alarm system

i've set an alarm on a truck that had bad side glass; then we broke the glass out w/out the alarm triggering.. so anything they could reach would be gone. of course, they can't open the door b/c that'd trigger the alarm.

did the same test on a different vehicle once, w/ a glass sensor... and the alarm triggered.

autopage.... very very cheap alarms. i've only dealt w/ one; and its still working today.. almost a year and only $37. however it does feel really cheap and doesn't perform up to a viper or python.

Are you having problems with it? Or is it not as accurate or something?
I read the features on it... Sounds pretty good for my situation. I don't need anything fancy, just a warning really. Keyless entry is a great plus though. Haha

That's pretty nifty. Looks like a good investment!

P.S. Anyone got an idea for the sliding back glass? I was thinking a wedge... But I don't think they make one long enough/small enough to be able to wedge it in between the two glasses(sliding glass and passenger back window).

we used to drop a small steel rod down in the track, one w/ a tab on it so its easier to grab to move out of the way.

Wooded dowel rod would work just as good....... Still going with the hungry pitbull chained to the brake pedal.......
