Pulled in to an ice and filtered water machine just after dark yesterday. I was tired and it was dark, and this place is Not lit at all, not to mention their elephant post is dark blue and dark rust brown, and I cut it a bit short and there it is.
I found a 94 quarter panel one state over for $125 but no idea on shipping, I haven't approached it yet, not sure how I'll go about it anyway, might try popping it back out to see how that goes

That looks totally fixable to me but get a body shop to look at it before you try to pop it out or you may cause yourself more expense.

I have some friends locally here I'll ask when I see them.

Does that stuff absorb the creases with time, where the longer it stays the harder it is to remove?

Also it had a dent already, just not near as big, it was barely visible, where I'd been cutting firewood and had the back filled over and backing up to turn around after dark it got a bit tight and a tree was in the way, but it was never enough to pull the panels off to try anything

That's the second bung I've got in the last 2 weeks due to poor lighting and improperly marked/painted posts etc. in their parking areas :/
Actually this was 3-3 only 7 days ago :/

yup....gonna have that.

If I showed up at the demolition derby tonight They'd direct me right to the start line, thinking I'm a professional :/

On the other hand if I tried to say the business was at fault for insufficiently lit parking area with no reflective paint in danger zones the judge would think I was beginning a new line of work :/

Happens all the time, just pop it out. Wooden bat makes good pop out bar.

Don't feel bad.

There's some of those concrete post things in the parking lot of wally world in Auburn maine.

There's one in particular that gets hit.... at least weekly. Sometimes in the middle of the G.D day.. somehow..

It's such a phenomenon that the stupid post now has its own Facebook page where people upload pictures of everyone who's driven into it lol. Every major news station has had a 6pm story about it, every radio station DJ let's us know when it's been hit again... it's just... wild.

Here's a good one...

Go back and piss on the pole some night...for revenge.

But in all seriousness that sucks, but having a body shop bang it out will be better both for the truck and your wallet then trying to cut and weld and paint a new panel. IMO

The trick to body repair is to re-create the accident in reverse ;) I know this to work but will get with someone around town and see what can be done with it
