bone stock 88 ranger 4x4 needs a lift

hey i have an 88 ranger custom 4x4 with a 2.9 and automatic transmission, picked it up cheap lastyear, its all original, now it needs a lift. i was thinking 3 inch body lift and 6 inch suspension lift. any suggestions on what to get?
