Body lift with Manual Transfer Case?

Thank you! Wow that was frustrating to try to figure out!

I was thinking about making an extention to bolt on to the end of the main arm to relocate the pivot point changing the leverage.

What do you think?

Thanks again for the help with the pics!

Chris.

Hey Chris. I got it figured out. Install was this past weekend and it works flawlessly. Be aware, a little bit of trimming is definately needed on the chrome bezel.

Stay tuned for pics and info in this thread, or I'll make a new one all about my swap, and link it here.

You short throw idea....has me thinking...but what you showed won't exactly work. At least not on a 02-03 Fx4 case. On the 97 and older manual cases, sure, I'd think it'd work. Reason being is that the shift fork level is not removable on the 02-03 cases, which I found out later about after getting this case.

Overall, I really should've got a 97 and older, and that would have saved be $60 + $90 for my front shaft shortening and the adaptor for the double cardon explorer shaft. live and learn. I did get what I realllly needed....the damn tailhousing! lol.

I'll shoot you a pm, incase you miss your own thread bump. lol.
