I bought a PA body lift on an impulse and now I'm not sure if i should install it myself or take it to a shop. I'm worried that I'll get half way through the install and not be able to finish. Any advice?

If youre mechanically inclined, youll be able to do a body lift. just have a buddy with you to help with lifting the cab, and bed when youre putting in your spacers and bolts. alittle help from a friend or two never hurts when doing these. the hardest part on the body lift is putting in the steering extension which still isnt that bad. i did a body lift on an 01 EDGE and it was pretty simple. just make sure you get everything disconnected that it says in the directions to have disconnected.

Good luck if you do it yourself, shouldnt be too bad. but having someone else do it will probably save yourself the time of doing it, but the labor fee will probably be close to or more than what the lift cost.

me and a couple buddies did my body lift. it was our first and it wasnt so bad..just read the instructions very well and take ur time..lots more cost efficient if u do it urself..a shop was gonna charge me $600 but 9 hrs later a saved that 600..

As long as you've got half a brain and are careful you'll be fine.
