Got to cut the hood,,,, well,,,, it needed cold air,, these blower generate a lot of heat:

May as well make a nice hood scoop!

BTW, I really like those valve covers.


EDIT: Was the "neck" on the oil filler already in those covers, or did you put that in there?

It was there, they are valve covers for EFI motor, but I simply vented them to atmosphere ,,, no PCV... I had to give up the valve covers, among other things, that came on this motor to help with a price break.. This was a new motor when I purchased it,,, 2009 casting.

Only 4 challenges left:

1. Fabricate serpentine idle/tension pulley mount

2. Shim crankshaft blower pulley

3. Mount radiator, some how

4. Install wide band controller

5. Cut the hood

Yep....like myself...sweating the little stuff now....my hands are full of scabs and every step forward has a few steps back.
