blackfoots makeover!

i'm gonna follow the same lines. onboard air, recovery tools...

latest update with sas

heres the set up. d44, f9...i took radius arms n cut n bent them, thinking bout caster angle i guess. i dont like how they look, im gonna redo it pretty soon. i also utilized my skyjacker 8"lift springs from my old lift kit. truck still needs to go to drivetrain shop next week for longer drive shaft and re-gearing, then its set. i also have to put my sway bar on and fab mounts for it...and i have a steering stabilizer im gonna throw on too.

i would look into some Cage arms. you might also look at fliping the the tie rods on top of the knuckle for clearance, this will also help so you wouldnt need a steering stabilizer. also i wouldnt worry about the sway bars, i dont run any upfront on my full size bronco. I also know of a good shop that builds driveshafts for a good price any way you want.

whats up kemicalburns? its tim from the deschutes county 4 wheelers forum.

what r cage arms? i would flip the tie rods, but the knuckle is tapered for the tie rod...so id need to drill the taper out and put a bolt with a heim joint. i wouldnt run a tie rod joint upside down, that will snap. i want a steering stabilizer, i didnt have one on before n i kinda wish i did...felt like wheels wanted to jump around too much....and for the sway bar, ive ran my truck without sway bars...i took my rear off n it was fine..but my front, no good on highway. my springs are pretty soft, and my shocks turned all the way up still leave it swaying pretty hard at highway speeds...if i got into any kind of a predicament it might turn ugly...so, for street use id definitely feel comfortable with it on...i ran quick disconnects before, really practical. what shop do you know for driveshafts? i was thinking walker driveline down here in talent...he has a good rep, n i was quoted at my front and rear regeared and new driveshaft at around 1300....i don think thats that bad...then again i havent had this work done before. what you think?

Looks nice with the choptop and SAS. I would just seal the back up good so that you have a closed cab and then put on a nice "bed cage."

heres the latest. picked up two side rail tool boxes for 30 bucks, cut them down to fit, still has to bolt in its just sitting in place for now.
