BlackBII's white ranger

Who can guess what this is all for? :D

Steering! What do I win? :icon_confused:

Building a k-link super runner style setup. Using that sector shaft and pitman arm as an idler arm.

Ingenious!:icon_idea:

Yeah by using the same pitman arm for both the idler arm and pitman arm it'll make it easier to get them perfectly parallel.

This upcoming weekend I am going to pull the front axle out and get the superlift drop brackets in place so I can build some radius arms and start on the steering linkages. :icon_welder:

Using "1 ton GM" tie rods and 1.5" DOM may be serious overkill for a Dana 35 with 32" all terrains, but it's only marginally more expensive to overbuild it. :dunno:

Who doesn't love a good gusset or three? Also cut off the 5.5 hole.

According some old threads, the Skyjacker 136's sit at around 15" at ride height. Looks like I might be okay using the 4" Superlift hole with the 6" Skyjacker coils. :icon_thumby:

Set the caster angle and welded up the arms. Also started cleaning up the passenger side beam

Today I remembered why I never did the u-joints on the axle shafts -- It's a pain in the arse. :annoyed:

It might be easier to do one shaft at a time. :icon_thumby:
