Bill4's 93 ranger

The Bellhousing spacer is from SHOrage on the Taurus sho forum and looks to be currently available on ebay. I don't see why you couldn't do a np435 this way too. The drivers side head needs trimmed and the block by the starter needs trimmed. Waiting on parts to start getting clutch and flywheel figured out.

You ever get the flywheel figured out?
Yea I think so, been so busy haven't had time to rebuild the trans. Can't do the final test fit with the crank spacer until my custom input shaft is in.

How thick is the spacer? Same as the bell adapter?

I assume you just run the SBF starter?

Yep sbf manual trans starter, I got one for an early 90s f150. The spacer is not the exact thickness of the bell adapter, i'm using a 300i6 flywheel. I measured how far the crank sticks out from the flat of the engine on a 300i6 and made my spacer so it is the same distance to the flat on my bellhousing adapter, which made my space just about 3/8 inch, I just did 3/8 inch figure that's close enough.

And the crank spacer converts the bolt pattern and center index from 3.0 to SBF? or by some miracle are they close enough to just work with a little slotting of the holes on the flywheel?

No can't be that lucky, had the flywheel redrilled to the 3.0 pattern. Its machined to fit over and center on the 3.0 and then the opposite for the 300i6 flywheel to center on it.
