Hello my Name is John, and I have a 2000 ford ranger supercab 4x4. I use is to pull my 5x12 lawn care trailer. I am getting about 12 mpg doing 60 on the hwy. looking for way to improve my mpg. Thanks :icon_thumby:

How many miles on it? Stock size tires? Which engine? Need this info to better help you.

But basic things such as plugs and wires, new air filter, lean the throttle body, MAF, maybe run a can of seafoam through it

Are we talking 12mpg with the trailer or in general? How much weight on the trailer? A rider mower, a pushmower and gas cans and weedwhackers add up fast...

Well, off the top of my head I would guess the trailer and the weight are causing your poor fuel economy.
