So I did a thing and it worked out pretty cool, hopefully some useful info if anyone is interested.

I had some wheels from my old 2012ish BMW 128I hanging out. Different bolt pattern and offset, but lets play with adapters and spacers! I was able to use positive offset 16x7 Beemer wheels with a 5x120mm bolt pattern on the Ranger.

I used 1" spacers/adapters in the front and 1.5" 5x114.3 to the 120mm adapters in the rear (to even out the weird Ford offsets). I got lucky and the BMW wheels had little pockets in the backside, so I did not have do trim the wheel studs in the front and still use the 1" spacers/adapters. NOT a fan of wheel spacers but we will see, guessing it will be fine, but still not a fan.

Old combo was 16x8 Vision wheels on 265/70/16 Cooper tires. New combo is the 16x7 BMW wheels with 245/75/16 Dunlop Winter Maxx SJ8 snow tires. I gained a tad of tire height, lost a tad of width, but this is all so I can run snow tires. Turned out acceptable I think! Saved my summer wheel/tire combo & didn't have to buy new wheels for my snow tires by using stuff I had laying around!

The only possible critique I might have (if you haven't done it), is did you thread lock the lug nuts holding the spacers on? If not, I would clean up the lugs and the nuts well and use some blue thread locker on them and make sure they are tightened to spec. I've heard of the lug nuts vibrating loose under the wheels a time or two. The blue thread locker will prevent that and yet not be so strong of a bond that you can't get them back off again without using a torch.

Thanks!
Yes, I am not a fan of spacers or adapters but gave it a try. With some blue loctite & a torque wrench, so far so good. Never going to get over the fact that there are spacers but :) Honestly couldn't figure out a good torque setting so I went 92lbs on the spacers and the wheels.

Tires are great, actually got a compliment today on the setup so that's good. Expecting a little snow this weekend too, so that will be the real test.

i dont have any issues with properly constructed and installed spacer/adapters.

the wheels look really good on there. i would never guess they were from a beemer.

All I can say is “Thanks for buying BMW stuff”. Note the logo on my uniform.
