Thanks , the clear coat i used was for use on plastics and metals it was krylon, i painted it in 3steps first was adheshive promoter, then the bedliner ,and the clear coat after ,still needs some touch up ,most likely going to put a few more coats on it soon , thanks for the inputI like it did you check if the clearcoat was compatible before spraying it? I would hate to see it peel when exposed to UV rays.
IMHO, you should have stopped at bed armour. You could have just touched it up easily when you wanted to. Live and learn, I think you will find that in time you have a mess on your hands. The good news is, you can replace the parts for cheap if you need to.
I actually agree, I would have stopped at the bed armor as well. It would have been durable enough on its own and would have maintained a nice finish without the clear coat.

Its more likely to do that then chip or flake off the bedliner , like i said its not gloss so it wont affect the looks After ,thanks for clearing that upNo... It won't ruin it. The CC will peel after a few months in the sun, it expands and contracts at a different rate then paint. Been there, tried that. I painted my whole truck in bedliner about 12 years ago.
When it starts peeling, get a real stiff bristle brush and scrub it off. You should be able to brush away most of the CC.
