Planning on bedlinering the bed of my ranger. What does everyone reccomend to use? I may use Herculiner roll-on, but I'd have to prep it for a loooong time. I also thought about just using the bedliner in sprey cans, but that would cost a lot of money to buy all those cans. I dont know what I want to use yet, so what does everyone have to say??

Herculiner... and don't skimp on the prep. of the surface, thats the place that needs the most attention it really needs to be prepped properly for the herculiner to work. I believe there is several herculiner write-ups somewhere within the forums, someone who has done it themselves may chime in.

Good Luck.

have done Herculiner, Road Warrior (Rustoleum), and Duplicolor. had to call and complain and get my money back when i used the Duplicolor. Herculiner and Road Warrior are about equal and i just use whichever is cheaper at the time. it is all in the prep to be sure. if you're going to do it, might as well do it right the first time. i know you will be much happier in the end. as for the spray, be prepared to re-spray every year or 2. it just doesn't build up as thick, nor does it stick on nearly as well as when you roll it on.
just my $.02.

if u want something that is still fairly low cost and bout 5 times better than herculiner, get por raptor. my dads buddy owns a body shop and used it in his work truck, parks outside all year no topper and its 4yrs old and looks brand new yet. he hauls scrap metal engine blocks everything and it looks great yet. whne i get the time im doin it on my ranger. kit only runs bout $100

did a little test run using herculiner on the piece of the tailgate that comes off behind the latch. I really like the outcome, so I'm gonna do the whole thing with Herculiner

im tellin ya you'll be sorry in bout a year or 2 when it get all cracked and gray and starts looking bad

Well I guess I'll find out then...but for now it looks good. I probably won't even have the truck in 2 years

i have the Ford plastic bedliner than came with the truck. :P no problems yet.

i had a plastic one in my old truck and didnt really like it. it wasnt very grippy and if i didnt tie things down(like coolers) they would slide all over the place. I have some sort of spray or roll on one now that came with my truck and i love it. Its alot grippier, although there are a few chips in it now

Rhino lining. Company trucks use them and they get the sh*t used out of them. The only time the rhino liner comes off is if you accidentally drop a 75 hp electric motor onto the bed and break the metal bed. then the liner breaks with it

not sure what its called, but it bolts onto your bed. my tailgate has it.

I was going to suggest linex or rhino liner right off the bat, but for some reason someone always comes and gripes about how expensive it is... its quality stuff. We have rhino liner in our F350, its well used, keeps stuff from sliding around. I have the regular ford liner in my Ranger, and it sucks, I honestly don't see why they put it in there, everything just slides around...
