I was going to suggest linex or rhino liner right off the bat, but for some reason someone always comes and gripes about how expensive it is... its quality stuff. We have rhino liner in our F350, its well used, keeps stuff from sliding around. I have the regular ford liner in my Ranger, and it sucks, I honestly don't see why they put it in there, everything just slides around...

Exactly my experience.

I was thinking of trying durabak on my truck. I have a plastic bedliner in mine but I want to use the dark grey Durabak on my bedrails and rocker panels for some protection. Durabak has a lot more colors than Herculiner. It is costly but I think that it would be worth it. It has UV protection built in.

The only advice I can offer is to stay away from the Duplicolor. I bought some of their spray-on to refinish an old truck tool box I was going to mount on my trailer and even after thoroughly sanding before applying it, I could scratch it off with my fingernail a week after I put it on. Ended up dumping the tool box in the scrap bin at work. $20 and about 4 hours of my time I'll never get back...........At least the tool box was free!

Hey im thinking of painting my truck with bed liner but ive never used any so is this a bad idea, whats the best brand, and whats gunna last the longest

if you mean you are going to put bed liner all over the outside of your truck's body, then get it done professionally. have seen that on jeeps and such. looks good from a distance, but up close, i think it kinda sucks in the looks department. just my $.02.

i put herculiner in my 78' no problems yet but its a garaged kept show truck. i am going to put the herculiner in my ranger and see how it holds
