What does TRS think of my bedlining the body of my ranger? I had some problem with rust eating my rocker panels and the bottom of my doors. i sanded it down, fiberglassed it and re-sanded it. I put on a few coats of spray-on bed liner and the rest is history.

That turned out great. Nice truck by the way. btw if rust was eating away the outside of your bed you got bigger issues :) .

I love it. Ive been thinking about getting Line-x in the bed and on the rockers like that. The $900 is whats stopping me though

It looks good for now.

If you didn't unkrimp that seam along the bottom of the door and clean it all out the rust will continue to have a good time under the bedliner.

the rust is now gone and it was only on the rocker panels under the door. i cut it down to the metal and fiberglassed it. Rather than spending a few hundred to get this rig painted, I used spray on liner. This whole job cost me about 20 bucks for 2 cans or spray.
I should get around to doing the bumpers too eventually

I hope you did not use dupi-la-colar bed liner spray that crap sucks

I used rustoleum brand. its all autozone had at the time. this project was really an impulse one and i just wanted to do it. if this stuff sucks, i'll respray it with herculiner or something.

:icon_rofl:

I'm considering doing that myself. The underside of my driver door has seen better days. But I dunno I may just want to paint the bottom of the door.

I'm going to do the same thing this summer. I get some scratches from the road and trail riding that usually buff out...but some don't. I think that looks really great. I want mine done with just a nice looking coat of satin black and not too much flat black as I have seen on some trucks around here.

Good on 'ya, mate...

Thank god. I used the dupli-color on my bed bolts after my BL and if you so much as looked at the bolts that crap pealed off. You did a good job, rust is a Bitch
