rebuilt the top end on my 93. turns over. has spark and has fuel at the scrader valve but will not fire up. if i spray starting fluid in the throttle body it fires up. fuel pressure regulator bad? fuel pump also pumps just fine. any ideas? thanks

You could check all your plugs make sure there plugged in.The one on the cam shaft synchronizer really comes to mind. It's on the back of the intake manifold and tells the injectors when to pulse.I have a 93 4.0 in my 86 B2 and that's how it works anyway.

if it fires when you spray ether in it then you aren't getting fuel, verify you have all of your plugs hooked up to the injectors and such. If this was a spark related issue, the engine wouldn't run on starting fluid.
