Have 2 cans of wasp spray, a rake and 1 stake pocket anchor left to pull… And there are also nests behind the gas door.., Want to get the box set in, start the rear shackle flip today. Tomorrow is pull the front cap off the C10, 4.3 to 350 conversion. 4.3 sits back too far.

Original issue spare tire/wheel. 1992 rear bumper/brackets. Rears fit, fronts do not from 88-97.
Needs a tank filler neck, completely rotten hose. Going to pull, drain and flush the fuel tank. New pump, sender, gasket, etc.

While the bed is off, flip the rear shackles. Clean and paint the frame and running gear. Replace the “cataclysmic perverter” and muffler, both are original to the trucklette. Normally? Would flip the rear axle or swap to an Explorer unit. Don’t currently see a need to make a traditional static dropped mini right now. Also not sure I see an actual need to swap in the 2” narrower 92 rear axle.

Alright, what color of tractor paint to correct the disgusting mess known as the chassis? Seriously, don’t care if it complements or clashes. Only caveat is Lisa said “No Red” after I did my K3500 frame safety red with safety blue springs… What, it’s a SaR (Search and Rescue) and natural disaster response rig, it needs to be visible… Barney is just a toy like the C10 lowrider project.

I have a bunch of gallons of different colors that I picked up at 50% off. I like a light color if I'm under there working to reflect light and see better. I did my race truck in yellow under the cab. The frame and roll cage are flat black... easy to touch up.

I’m very tempted to do JD or Caterpillar yellow chassis. But Cub Cadet Beige would sure show issues more readily…

14” alloys or 15” steelies? 25.3” tall versus 27.7” tall. Both 60,000 mile all season touring tires…
Really leaning towards the 215/75r15 100T…

Hmmm… fuel filler assembly… $200 Vatozone, 1yr warranty, or $35 Fleabay, also a 1yr warranty…

Fuel pump/ sender, same deal… Identical warranty imported junk… Vatozone “penalty tax” or Fleabay dice roll…

Get a Kemso pump. Lots of good reviews here. I just put mine in but have no complaints as of yet.
