ball joint and u joint press

So I took my D35 apart today cause I was getting a weird sound when I put it in 4x4. when I was done checked the ujoints and the only one that was "seized" was the one on the inner passenger side. I should have presoaked the ujoint witih wd40 but I didnt and now I have a bent ear. just enough so that I cant quite fit the new ujoint back in. What would you suggest I do to bend it back without wrecking it? it is only bent about 2.3mm. not much.

Also my older brother who is a mechanic looked at the spider gears and they aret chipped or anything but they show signs of wear. any thoughts on whether I should do anything?
