bad alternator tranny problems??

hey guys i blew another alternator.this time the trans is acting a little funny aswell.sometimes it doesnt shift up like it winds out and will over rev so i have to let off the gas.could the bad alternator casue this ?

It might. All kinds of things can go screwy when the electrical system is incorrectly regulated.

If you know the alternator is bad, replace it (and check the charging circuit for shorts to ground!), and then try to diagnose the transmission.
