Backfire Through Carb

the first number on my damper is 12 dbtdc dont trust someone else if you have to get under the front of the truck to clean and mark it somtimes getting up close the marks are alot easier to see and use a light color crayon to mark 10 dbtdc

so when i disconnect the spout, i am measure about 6.5 volts to it.

Refer to the tech library on TFI diagnostics all you need is a volt ohm meter and some time start with the coil then the TFI then the pickup coil in the distributor.

ya when me and my dad thought we had it timed we found out that the marks are 2 degrees each not 1 degree like we thought and we had it timed way to far ahead and it was shooting flames out of the carb....
