My Bronco life started at 16 in 1986. A Rancher I worked for sold me my first vehicle. 1971 Bronco sport, with no top, and used to haul diesel. Fixed it up with a top.
Joined the Navy after school, and she was sold without my knowledge, and I cried! Especially when trying to replace it these days, and their value $$$$$$$$$
Now it's 2025. I'm 55 years old, and Have jumped back in with a $1000 1984 B2 that has reignited the flame.
I'm an aircraft mechanic, and love each minute of working on it, and sharing the love with others who understand!

Awesome BII!

I don't know if it effects beam pattern or not but I think your headlights are upside down, the horizontal lines are trying to mimic the signals on the new Bronco.

That's funny you mention that! I noticed they are backwards yesterday! Ill be moving them to the correct orientation.

Looks good. I hope you have an air filter on there now.

holy cow do you live way up there. every time i see texas on someone's deal i look up where they are in case they are close enough to do stuff with sometimes.

you are 50 miles from being dead center between me and my son that lives in omaha nebraska.

so much for being close enough to do stuff with, ha ha ha

Yes! I know! I've already looked for nearby members. Closest I see is Dallas. I am 30 minutes away from the Fort worth Stockyards. Seems everyone is moving here these days.

a couple guys from where i work at are moving to dallas. we are all helicopter repair guys but they got let go with the gov downsizing going on. luckily they got jobs up there with civilian companies because they are younger and have young families.

Bell Helicopter possibly? I worked there in the past. They have facilities all over DFW. I'm working for a company that maintains Amazon's Aircraft.

i am not sure. the one guy who worked with me all the time said a company that does maintenance on leers and king airs picked him up. he is the one who told me the other guys got picked up at places in dallas too. it surely could be bell though since we do bell products here so they already have experience on their drivetrain.

i bet those amazon places keep you busy, ha ha ha. they probably fly non-stop

24/7. Non stop. But we have a great schedule that gives us alternating 3 and 4 day weekends. Working in the Bronco is stress relief!
