I bought this thing used in 05' with 61;xxx on it
Iac? I looked it up. I'm gonna order one. Soon as i get the front end lined out. Gotta pull the coil springs again gonna grind the lift blocks? down a bit and take some pressure off the system.
I haven't had to do much to this thing since I've had it
1 alternator
2 or 3 Batts
Timing chain cover gasket cpl times
On my 3rd or 4th set of tires
Front end rebuilds steering box ball joints
Thats it in 18 yrs

I know it's 20 yrs
But it was bone stock for 18

why grind the lift blocks? can you not just pull them out? i pulled them out completely on my 03 and it made the truck level

Well it was supposed to be 2" by the time it translated to the ends
It's actually 2.5
Let me say this correctly
Coil spring spacers
If I knock em down by half that should be an inch or inch n half ish when I stick a tape measure from concrete to top of fender
Then I can go to the back end move the bolt in the shackle lift one hole and end up with abt an even 1' lift all the way around
It had 235's on it when I bought it so I've just kept that size
But now I want 245's or 255's that I'll run abt 5-8 lbs under pressure and make em a lil squishy so my 10-12 bulged herniated disc's will feel more comfortable 👍 😃

And I'll b able to go back to the stock Monroe shox and ecerything should b ok
If not ya just yank em out entirely

And to answer the question jn the title; IAC = Idle Air Controller. It controls your idle speed.

08-11 Rangers had shorter lift blocks. I wouldn’t grind the factory block
