B4000 third brake light

I darkened mine way too much. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement or aftermarket other than a junkyard for a 2000 B4000 SE?

Dude, try eBay, Craigslist, or Google. They are everywhere. Personally, I'd find a place that sells it for less than $10.

For some reason I was under the understanding that the ranger 3rd brake lights would not work. Will they fit without modification? Connectors also?

the ranger one will work the cabs are the same the only thing different from your truck and a ranger is the bed and the front sheet metal
