Yeap.. bummer. The hulkster was the shit.. dude had such an aura. Entrance music was always awesome too. When Vince "fired" him and he ended up coming back as 'mr america' or whatever it was.. definitely one of my top 3 memories from my days watching wrasslin. Epic. Vince was piiiiisssed.

He lived longer than a lot of his buddy's though.. decades of steroids and cocaine isn't easy on the ol ticker. Seems like most of those guys all pass due to exploding heart syndrome.

I was never big on wrestling…

But he was the Hulk. My one uncle moved back to Florida and when he came back home to visit after a few months there, he looked like the Hulk.

We were not really a big wrestling family. I remember watching him with dad in the early 90's being intrigued about his shirt ripping thing.

Kinda weird, that doesn't seem that long ago and he would have been about my current age then...

I was never much into wresting but there are some people from wrestling that you can't just not know. Hulk Hogan is one of them. Others are Andre the Giant, Randy Savage, along with a few others.
